*  Williams Lake was caused by an enormous ancient landslide.

        *  The water is clean and excellent for all water sports.

        *  During the summer the temperature rises to 70 degrees. 

        *  There are only 50 homes on the lake.

        *  The lake sits down low so the water stays smooth throughout the day.

        *  During the week, there are very few boats on the lake.

        *  There is excellent trout fishing.

        *  During late July and August we sometimes experience an algae bloom in the

            lake.  Recent years bloon has been light.  The algae is completely harmless.

            It does not bother water skiing or fishing.
